Baptism weekend

We had Addison's baptism this weekend in Fredericksburg. The ceremony was beautiful, and I am glad that it all came together nicely despite my stress and crankiness. Scott got some really great pictures, he has teased us with some, and I cannot wait to see the rest!

We also bought Addie a high chair this weekend, and a new toy. The toy is one of those ring stackers that everyone in the world had when they were little. She loves it! Its so rewarding to watch her actually play with toys and get excited about them! Josh was playing ring toss on her feet, and she kept trying to grab them when he tossed them. It was her first game of catch with Daddy.

We have a busy week ahead. Lindsay is coming to visit us tomorrow and we have playdates on Wednesday and Thursday. We leave for Ohio on Thursday night- this will be Addison's first road trip, and we're crossing out fingers that it goes well!

The best part of this weekend was seeing Addison with my grandpa. He loved holding her and seemed to be having a blast playing with her. I am so glad he was able to make it down for the baptism.
