So much to post, so little time. Addison has become a very independent one year old already. She would much rather walk than ride in the cart or be carried, which is proving to be very trying for mommy and daddy. She is very sure of what she wants and does not want, and will tell you "na na na!" when she doesnt like what you are doing. At meal time, she is very picky already about which foods she wants on her tray. *Sigh*. She loves climbing the stairs (with our supervison, of course!), and running around outside. Ahh, yes, outside. It seems that our little princess would camp outside if she could. Her nose could be red and her hands freezing, but she is NEVER ready to come inside. We have been going for rides in our wagon, and playing down at the end of the street, and it never fails, she cries when it is time to come inside. She stands at the storm door and bangs on it and cries like she cant believe that she is stuck in this boring house. What a drama queen.
She is doing great with sleeping lately (knock on wood). For naps and bedtime, we giver her lamby and giraffe, and she is set. We are teetering with whether to wean her off the paci or not...We think she is ready, but her top teeth are coming in, and we arent sure if its a good time...but its coming sooner than later!
She has now become a full fledged toddler, and has the scars to prove it. In the past week, she has gotten a goose egg, a huge welt, and a scrape on her pretty little face, not to mention the bumps and bruises all over her legs! She is a tough cookie!
Addie is happy, strong willed, and all over the place. Here are some pictures of her playing :)
We start out our day like this...

but soon...
