We decided to take Addison to an Easter egg hunt here in the W'burg before we headed to the F'burg on Saturday. It was a lot chillier than we had anticipated, and Addison was wanting to have NOTHING to do with the whole situation. I was bummed because I think under normal circumstances, she would have really had a blast. Hopefully next year we will all be healthy and enjoy it! I did manage to kinda get a picture of her with the Easter bunny :)
After our dramatic morning, we headed up north to see everyone. I was so excited to see that she remembered Grandpa Steve, and went right to him! Addison had a blast playing with the kids, and we even went on a "field trip" with her cousins to Pet Smart and Target, her two favorite stores, that are now conveniently right across the street from Grandma and Grandpa's house! How exciting!!
We headed to Grammy and Grandpa's to round off the day, where she was so excited to see them and play with Molly. We even watched Enchanted, which I think Addie really enjoyed!
The Easter Bunny was good to Addison and brought her toys, eggs, and Grammy made her a dress! She loves it because it has Pooh on it. We are going to have to watch her carefully when she wears it, she wont be watching where she is going because she will be pointing to all the "friends" on her dress!
She got to spend a lot of quality time with Grandpa Steve, and I even caught some of it on video. We had a great weekend. We are so thankful for our wonderful family and feel blessed that we got to spend so much time with everyone this weekend!
Addie said "Open it" at both Grandparents houses today. In both cases, she pointed to the door, and said "open it!". She also said "Abby" today when she got her Abby Cadabby backpack from the Easter Bunny. What a big girl she is!
