I know...

...its been forever. We have been busy little bees. We have been to Fredericksburg three weeks in a row, so keeping up in between has been hard. Addison is growing up right before our eyes, and as hard as I try, I cant keep up with her. She is into everything, can reach everything, and wants to do everything. She is hilarious, she talks up a storm, but we are still only understanding about 10% of what she is saying. Her most popular phrases include "Bye bye", "More", "Help Please" (which sounds like "Helpy", "open and shut" (as in, the doors on the bus go open and shut, and she does the action with it), "What's that?" or "Whats this" (were not sure which) "oh, look!" and "I like it". She calls Elmo "Elbo", which is pretty cute. She can say kitty, doggy, and duck, although everything says "moo" :) Tonight she put Pablo to "bed" when we were getting ready to go upstairs. She gave him a drink from her sippy, laid him down, give him a kiss, and patted his head. It was so cute. I think the maternal instinct is so incredible. We went to our friend Ms. Tricia's house yesterday, and played with Danielle, Phillip, and Ford. Addison LOVES Phillip, if you have been reading the blog since the beginning, you know that she has ALWAYS loved Phillip, and she played "wifey" with him yesterday. She followed him around, and when she found a toy, she would take it to him to show him, if she saw one of his pacis on the floor, she would take it to him, and the same with his sippy cups. She was actually trying to put the paci in his mouth, which was funny to watch, since she crouched herself over and turned her head to see where his mouth was. It was so cute. Speaking of mouths, we are working on the parts of the body. She definitely knows nose, eyes, ears and teeth. She can say nose and teeth pretty well. She gets confused between nose and toes, and between eyes and ears, but were working on it! :) We have been busy playing outside a bunch, and its fun to take car rides now because she can see out the window (at least in mommy's car) and she recognizes when we reach certain places (both sets of grandparent's houses, our house, Target (I know, thats my girl), the park (which we have to pass to get anywhere), the Y, and the Rec center. Its pretty neat because now she knows what our car looks like, too, so when she sees it, she will point to it, and I think she is saying "Mama's" but I am not quite sure. I know that some of you think that I am crazy when I say that I think she is saying stuff, but I swear I speak her language :) The fact that I am around her 24hrs a day helps a little bit in the code breaking, too ;) She even said "Tara" a couple times this week! I am telling you, that when the girl gets on a role, she is never going to stop! Pray for my sanity through the two's, cause I have a feeling I will be getting an earful!
Here are some random pics. Not too many from the past couple weeks, I have been a bit of a slacker. She has found a pair of fake pearls that I had from sorority, and she puts them on, and plays with them all the time, although she calls them "ball balls" We like to call this look "Shabby Chic"

When I say she is getting into everything, I mean everything! Nothing is safe. Sometimes it amazes me that she knows what things are just from watching us. She found the ear thermometer the other day and she was actually trying to put it in her ear to take her temperature! Here she is getting into the iced tea...like she needs any caffeine in her life!

And I got a new camera (thanks, Grandpa!), so here are my first shots playing around with Addison. You can tell she was not so enthused that Mommy got a new camera to bug her with, but she came around :) She is showing off her muscles (okay, maybe she's just stretching :)) and the new shirt that Auntie Courtney got her for Easter. Watch out Auntie, I think that Addie really took a liking to Eric!

I promise I will try harder to keep up. My allergies have been kicking my butt, and plus work has become quite stressful, so I am beat by the end of the day. Excuses, excuses, I know! Hope everyone is doing great!
