beautiful weekend

Well today has been a beautiful day, and we have definitely taken advantage of it. We did a bunch of errands, and took Addie to the Children's Festival in Newport News. It was held in a park, and it was a huge event, way bigger than I was expecting! Addison was really hesitant at first, but as the weather warmed up, so did she. There were ten foot tall men walking around, and goats that seemed to be screaming "no" at her (they were really screaming "mmaaaaahhhhhh", but scary nonetheless)and so she wasnt quite so sure how she felt about the whole experience. My mommies group was there promoting membership, and she let them paint a ladybug on her face. She wasnt extremely thrilled about the experience, but hey, it was pretty decent for a first timer! She rode a pony, but I am not sure that she knew that she was riding a pony. She kept pointing to the one in front of us, and saying "hi, horsey!", and I kept trying to explain that she was on one, but you know, cant reason with a one year old. Speaking of that, our behavior issues seem to be better, we just really had a bad day. I think that getting like 8 teeth at one time probably wouldnt bring out the best in anyone. Her I teeth STILL havent cut through...like I said, it will be time for Kindergarten before we get a full set.
Addie has also discovered a new fav snack, veggie booty. We have always loved the Pirates Booty (they are all natural cheese puffs, and I admit, they are yummy), so we moved on to the veggie kind, which is made with Kale and spinach in it. It is the new baby crack. She goes looney for it, searches the pantry for it, and cries when her bowl is empty. I wish I could get Josh to be that crazy about something with Spinach in it!
Here are my stockpile of pictures from the week. Everytime you say Grandma, Grammy, or Grandpa, Addison points to the family pictures that we have on our mantle, and says "hi!" to them. We always get them down and look at them. She loves to find everyone in the pictures :) Some pics are of us goofing around, and the rest are from the park today. We are debuting two of the outfits Grandma bought us from Jennifer and Madison's boutique :) We love them!
