Ernie and Bert fish passed away on Saturday, August 9th. They are survived by their roommate and friend, Elmo Fish, of the tank; their owner, Addison Everett of Williamsburg, and several brothers and sisters in various locations. A memorial service will be held in their honor in Addison's bathroom at a later date.
Ernie passed first, and Bert, having a broken heart that his best buddy was gone, decided that he could not bear to go back into the tank on his own, and later died next to Ernie. They touched many lives in the brief six weeks they lived in the tank. They will be greatly missed by all who knew them.
