Seeing double?

Are you seeing double? Could it be?

TWO GIRAFFES!

A certain friend arrived in the mail today, crisp, clean and as soft as ever, and a certain girl couldnt have been more excited. I think she giggled for about 10 minutes straight, saying "two, Mommy! Two!" I am so excited for her, especially since when you put old giraffe with new giraffe and you can see how well loved he really is. I think the new giraffe will fit into the family just fine! She knows the difference between the old and the new (it doesnt take much!) but she seemed perfectly okay with it. She went to sleep clutching them both tonight...so hopefully this doesnt mean I will be dragging around two!
We also spent Josh's birthday decorating the Christmas tree, playing with her new little people nativity set, and putting out the other decorations. She was so excited to help daddy put up the "mismess tree" and to see Santa sitting on our mantle. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and someone is super excited! :) I am so excited that she understands this year, even if she keeps calling the angel in her nativity a butterfly, and thinking that the wiseman is the "baby's mommy!" :)
