Oh what a night!

We have had quite the eventful afternoon. It all started when Addison woke up from her nap. We went to meet Tricia, Phillip, and Danielle at the park. We had fun running around, but boy was it hot! I am not complaining, thought because the lack of sunshine we have had in the past week has really taken a toll on my mood. The sunshine was so rejuvenating!! After the park, we headed home, and as we were walking inside the door, Addison tripped and hit her face on the corner of the brick that frames the door. I really thought she had busted her head wide open, but when I took a look, she had scraped her chin up pretty badly, had a fat lip from biting it (poor thing has 4 teeth and still manages to bite her lip) and possibly hurt her top right tooth. It was the first time I have ever seen her bleed, but we survived. She looks pitiful, but I suppose its something I am going to have to get used to. I just hope it doesnt scar her perfect little face!
I couldnt get her to calm down for the longest time, so I called Daddy for reinforcement, and he was actually getting ready to come home anyway. We decided that despite her tragic fall, we were going to grab some dinner and head to busch gardens for a few hours. Addison absolutely LOVED it, and its amazing how different this visit was in comparison to last october when we went. She was pointing at everything, and jabbering away, and she loved riding on Daddy's shoulders for a birds eye view! She rode her first rides tonight, the flying dragons with mommy, and the dragon egg wheel with Daddy. She is such a big girl! She cried when she had to get off of the eggs, kinda like on Jon and Kate plus 8 when he doesnt understand that he has to get off Dumbo and give someone else a turn. We also rode the skyline, and She loved looking down and seeing the roller coasters running below her. We had a good evening, but she was tuckered out! We even skipped bathtime!
Well, we topped off the evening with news that Grammy and Grandpa got a new car, and that it is quite the adventure in itself, so I am sure that Addie will be excited to go for a spin around town in it with the wind in her hair! She is going to want Grammy to driver her everywhere! Well I think thats enough excitement for one night. Hopefully we will all sleep well tonight, and its a bonus that tomorrow is Friday!
