Our weekend

We have had a fun weekend. Addison gets funnier by the day, as she is saying more, and showing us that she understands what is going on in the world around her. One of her new things is that she will find paper or something, and say "trash" and then wants to throw it away. Its cute. I am just waiting for the day when she starts throwing things that are NOT trash away, but luckily, our trash can has a lid. Her vocab is growing by the day. Now when she wants her lunch at work, she will point to the lunchbox, and keep pointing until I pull out what she wants. This is particularly annoying when I didnt bring what she is looking for, but she usually wants either cheese, or a banana. She can say "cheese" loud and clear, but banana still comes out in a mixed jumble. It is a toughy. All the blended sounds are coming out, and its really cute. She can do the "sh" sound really well. She now says "Stacy" (which is my boss who loves Addie and Addie adores) and tonight we had her saying "Josh".
We hung out with Auntie Courtney and Eric yesterday, and today we headed to Yankee Candle for the petting zoo and clown that they had today. Addie really liked the balloon the clown made for her, but she wasnt so sure about the pony ride. We have had a great weekend, just hanging out and doing things in our own time.
We got Addie a bubble machine, its backyardigans, and pablo blows bubbles. She likes to point to them and dance around and say "bubbles!"
She is so amazing. This morning, while we were showering, she was opening the bathroom door and peeking in and saying "Boo!" Josh surprised her from behind the shower curtain, and scared her first, and she fell on the floor and started laughing. It was so funny.
Yesterday we basically dragged Addie out of the bed to go to the outlets. If you have ever seen her when she first wakes up, she is very, very sweet and loving. So . after a diaper change and putting her shoes on, we strapped her in the car. We were riding along, and out of the backseat, we hear the sweetest voice say "Hi, Daddy". It was so sweet. We looked in the backseat and she was just smiling with the cutest little grin. Its so cool that she can communicate with us now.
Its been a good weekend, and were back to the grind tomorrow.
