Addison went to her first movie in the theater today! Our local theater offers free kids movies once a week in the summer, and today it was Veggie Tales. All of our bestest friends were going, and since they are about the same age, we figured we would give it a try, too! Addie did pretty good- we got to the theater early to make sure we got a spot, and unfortunately that ate up some of our attention span allowance, so we ended up making it through about 1/2 hour of the movie. We all agreed that the plot was pretty slow, and had there been more singing, we would have lasted longer. Addison got scared of weird things in the movie, and at one point she was laughing, but we have no idea what was so funny! All in all, I am glad we gave it a try!
Josh is in NY until tomorrow. Boy do we miss him. Addie keeps saying "daddy, work."
We are so blessed to have made such wonderful friends here in Williamsburg that keep us busy so we dont miss him too much. I dont know what I would do without them. They really keep me sane! Its hard to imagine that last year at this time I was just really getting to know them. Its nice that Addison has friends to grow up with too! I feel so fortunate to have them in our lives.
This is what Addison looked like when she woke up this morning. Apparently, ponytail hangover is WAY worse than pigtail hangover! She ate her bfast in front of the TV this morning, cause thats what happens when Daddy's not home...we splurge a little :)
